General Dev Update

Hey everyone! We just wanted to give a quick update of how things are going, state of development, etc, etc.

First, and most importantly, we're still working on it! We don't want to make anyone think that the game has been abandoned or anything since it's been a minute since the last update. Our goal was to have the next patch out by now, but, well, 2020 sucked. The end of 2020 was extra rough, and the start of 2021 was also kinda rough.  But we're still working on it in whatever free time we've got.

Like we've said before, this is just a little game being made 2 people. One programmer/writer and one artist. And unfortunately we've both been working pretty non-stop for the past several months of day job work. Honestly, the programmer/writer half, who's writing this now, has been super swamped. We have most of the art done, but without the writing a visual novel is less novel and more just erotic pictures. In the meantime, the artist has been working to learn programming so she can pick up some of the slack.

Which brings us to the second point. Artist has been making her own stand alone game as her own personal practice project. She's learned a lot, made a lot of silly and cute adult pictures to go with the project, and is wrapping it all into it's own thing. We're thinking about putting it up here on itch, in case anyone is interested, but we also wanted to be clear that no time was sacrificed making that game that could have gone into the making of this one. Like I said, I'm holding the project up due to day job work, and this second game was made as practice so she could help pick up some of the slack and get this game out sooner.

On to the future of this game. I foresee the rest of March being hectic, but after that things might ease up a bit. At that point I'm hoping to get back into full swing with the spooky eggy goodness, and we'll get the next content patch out in a few months. The ultimate goal is to have the whole 1.0 release by Halloween this year, which I think is super doable. That means basically tripling the size of the game right now, but we've already set the foundation and it all just making more game.  After that, we'll probably move on to another game inside the egg factory.
